Secretary

Main responsibilities:
To schedule at least three committee meetings over the year, prepare and distribute agendas, review and circulate minutes, and circulate papers.
Help with writing/distributing reports as and when required.
Organise the regional AGM.
Deal with the section’s main mailbox correspondence.
Circulate events/opportunities to members.
This role does not require any particular previous experience other than an interest in taking part and time commitment. Prospective applicants must be current members of the ARA.
Training Officer

Main responsibilities:
To organise and host the Section for Business Records (SBR) training events
To attend and participate in SBR’s committee meetings (usually 3/4 per year via MS Teams, and AGM in person)
To maintain good communications with other officers within the region and to contribute to activities organised within the region and beyond
To express your interest in either of these roles, please send a short statement (one page suffices) saying why the role interests you, outlining your interest in SBR and ARA activities, and how you would manage working time and the team's commitments.
