ARA Preservation and Conservation Group meeting

Location: Cambridge University Library
P&CG will be holding a meeting at Cambridge University Library on Tuesday 3rd November 2026, all P&CG members are welcome. It will be held as an in-person event. Join us for the meeting to find out what the committee is working on, as well as a selection of talks, and tours of the Cambridge University Library conservation facilities and exhibition spaces.
Provisional timings and schedule (TBC):
10:30-11am - Arrival
11am-1pm - Meeting and talks
1-2pm - Lunch break
2pm- approximately 3/3:30 (TBC) - Tours of conservation facilities and exhibition spaces

If you would be interested in presenting a 10 minute talk on the theme of ‘Conservation Conundrums’, please e-mail Secretary Rosie Shepley with an expression of interest at PCG.Sec@archives.org.uk. Talks can be around a conservation issue or project you need some help with from the audience, or had problems with and how you worked it out. No problem is too small. and it is a safe space to share a discuss this topic.
Please share a title and a short description of what your talk would be about by Monday 12th October 2026.
