Conservation Surgery

Training: Online - Monday 19th May 2026 - 2.00 to 3pm - free to attend

Do you have a burning conservation question but no conservator to ask? Join us for a collaborative and informal online Conservation Surgery Session. This is an open forum where you can bring any conservation questions you may have to a panel of friendly conservators.

Please note that this session will not be recorded. In the interest of answering as many questions as possible, attendance is limited to 10 people, so booking is essential.

Jessica Baldwin – Senior Conservator at the National Archives Ireland (NAI)
Sarah Graham – Head of Conservation at Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI)
Mark O’Neill – Preventive Conservator (Archives) at the Imperial War Museums
Elizabeth Stettler – Conservator at the West Yorkshire Archive Service

To book a place please email Elizabeth Stettler, Preservation and Conservation Group Co-Training Officer, at PCG.TO2@archives.org.ukby 10am Monday 18th May 2026.
Note: Preference given to ARA Ireland members, other sections and regions are welcome to attend if space allows.
