Foundation Membership (FMARA) is designed for all those at the beginning and early stages of their career. Anyone working or volunteering in the sector, including administrative staff, volunteers, apprentices, graduates and existing professionals with ARA-accredited qualifications, may apply. Foundation Members can use the post nominal title FMARA.

All Individual Members of the ARA are able to enrol regardless of academic qualification.

Registered Membership (RMARA) is the established level of excellence in the profession for all those at the early to mid-career stage and beyond. It communicates to employers, clients and the public that they can expect high standards of professional knowledge, competency and integrity. Registered Members can use the post nominal title RMARA.All Individual Members of the ARA are able to enrol regardless of academic qualification. You do not need to qualify as a Foundation Member before progressing to Registered Membership.
