ARA Wales - are keen to recruit a Secretary, Treasurer, Communications Officer and Welsh Translators.
We are looking for new officers to join our friendly committee:
Welsh Translators (a new shared role)
Getting involved by volunteering with ARA is a great way to widen your professional network and gain skills that can help you to progress your career. Most of all, enjoy building a community of archives professionals in Wales.
Please take a look at the role descriptions above and the Welsh Translator role below and email arawales@archives.org.uk with a short statement of interest if you’d like to apply. We welcome requests for sharing the roles too.
Welsh Translators
This is a new role that would enable us to connect with ARA Cymru/Wales members in Welsh and English. We envision this as a shared role: you will be part of a pool of translators that support the committee by translating communications for social media posts/event descriptions/member updates.
Are you a Welsh speaker? We would greatly appreciate your help in making ARA Cymru/Wales an inclusive community for all archives professionals in Wales.
Cofion gorau/Best wishes,
Anna Sharrard
ARA Wales, Chair
