Online - Monday 19 October and Thursday 22 October 2026 - 1.30pm to 17.30pm

This course is for Records Managers/Officers or any staff with information management responsibilities.  It will take you through a process of developing Information Architecture from discovery and strategy, to embedding Information Architecture into your business. It considers how Information Architecture is used in an Information Management context. You will learn key principles of Information Architecture for the governance of information within Microsoft 365.

You will explore how Information Architecture is practically applied in Microsoft 365, considering factors such as hubs, sites, structures, columns, content types and term sets. You will get the opportunity to work through a scenario based on real life information architecture development projects.

The course is best suited for practitioners who have some working knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint and Teams. For those unfamiliar with Microsoft 365 we recommend you attend the Microsoft 365 SharePoint Fundamentals or Microsoft 365 SharePoint Super User training before joining this course.
