Successful digitisation projects run smoothly and deliver to expectation. However, once started they are hard to change without incurring high levels of cost and introducing complexity that can potentially derail them. This talk will look at the initial planning and scoping considerations that need to be understood to ensure objectives and outcomes are achieved within plan. Knowing the right questions to ask is important, but so is understanding the implications of the answers in order to create process that has a chance of succeeding. We will look at the practical impact of key decisions and how the balance between delivery and budget can be achieved by the right scoping.
