Keeping up to date

In response to member demand, the BRG does most of its business via email, these web pages and the BRG weblog.  We also have an annual business archives themed issue of ARC.

The email list, blog and web pages are here for BRG members (and other interested parties) to share news, highlight training events, publicise a new publication or acquisition, or ask for some advice.  Please get in touch with us to spread your news!

Email List

Details of BRG and business archive related training events, meetings, news and issues are circulated to BRG members and any other interested individuals via the BRG email list.  If you would like to sign up to the BRG email list please email the BRG Joint Secretaries charlotte.mccarthy@diageo.com or rhosker@scotborders.gov.uk.

Weblog

Keep up to date with business archive news and BRG business through the BRG blog (launched September 2008).  Available at soa-brg.blogspot.com, the blog has details of what's going on in the world of business archives.

You can subscribe to the blog - new postings will come directly to your email inbox.  Full details available on the blog.

If you want to share some news through the blog, please contact the BRG Communications Officer, Clare Paterson: c.paterson@archives.gla.ac.uk.

News webpages

Prior to the launch of the blog, our webpages had details of business archive news.  These pages are still available through the news link on the left.

ARC

Each year the BRG contributes to a business archives themed ARC.  The Communications Officer will request articles for ARC around October / November each year through the blog, email list and archives-nra listserve.  If you wish to get involved, please contact the BRG Communications Officer, Clare Paterson: c.paterson@archives.gla.ac.uk.
