Committee Profiles

The Business Records Group has decided to publish profiles for each of the roles fulfilled on the committee in order to illustrate what each role involves. Each profile has been divided into the following areas

  • Title of post
  • who the post holder reports to
  • what the purpose of the post is
  • what the principle accountabilities are
  • what skills and competencies are needed
  • the decision making, authority and controls
  • time spent per month on duties

We hope this will enlighten members as to what each member of the committee has to do in order for the BRG to function. We also hope that in sharing the profiles with members of the BRG some of you may be encouraged to stand for office at the next Annual General Business Meeting

Secretary Business Records Group – this role can be split into Membership Secretary and Meetings Secretary
Communications Officer Business Records Group
Training Officer Business Records Group – this role can be split between two officers
