Targets
1. To provide speakers for the Society of Archivists and other appropriate conferences and meetings.
2. To offer or contribute to at least two training events where possible, and to look at alternative means of communication.
3. To continue to respond to government initiatives concerning education and learning and to other bodies as appropriate.4. To continue to maintain and develop the group’s section of the SoA website.
5. To maintain contact with relevant educational policy bodies.
6. To explore links with museums and libraries where appropriate.
7. To maintain contact with MLA (England), with CyMAL (Wales) and with museums and libraries in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
8. To strengthen and support the position of education and learning within core archive activities.
9. To strengthen links with regions.
