The Society of Archivists, Scotland, is a vibrant and active region, and holds meetings and events regularly throughout the year.

April 2008

1 April 2008; Four documents have been added to the Scotland Region pages:

• Approved minutes of the Executive Committee meeting held on 23 November 2007.
• Draft minutes of the Executive Committee meeting held on 22 February 2008.
• Approved minutes of the Region meeting held on 5 December 2007.
• Draft minutes of the Region AGM held on 8 March 2008.

30 April 2008; Now available on the website:

• The agenda for the Region meeting to be held at North Lanarkshire Archives, Motherwell, on 13 May 2008.

May 2008

The results of the work experience opportunities survey carried out by Henry Sullivan were presented at the AGM on 8 March 2008. The presentation has now been added to the site and can be downloaded by using the link below.

June 2008

Minutes for the meeting of ASLAWG (Archivists of Scottish Local Authorities Working Group) held on 15 February 2008 at Eastwood House, East Renfrewshire have been added to the site. Members can download them from the ASLAWG page.

22 June
A comparison of reprographic charges across the archives of Scottish local authorities has been compiled for ASLAWG, and is available to download by using the link on the ASLAWG page.
