Regional Meetings

Date: Wednesday 8 October 2008 1-4.45pm, 5-7pm
Location: Liverpool Centre for Archive Studies and Society of Archivists North West Region Archives and Education Training Event and Drinks Reception. Room 1.13, Continuing Education Building, 126 Mount Pleasant, University of Liverpool, Liverpool L69 3GR.

This training event is jointly organised by the Liverpool University Centre for Archive Studies (LUCAS) and the Society of Archivists North West Region (SoA NW). The afternoon training will give delegates the following: news and advice from school projects around the region, an insight into the role of an archives education officer, an introduction to the new MLA tool for finding schools and keeping records of school contacts, and input from teachers. The course will be of interest to archivists, archives assistants and all those in archives with an education or outreach remit.
