Training Guidelines

Useful guidelines and resources for training officers are provided here.

1. Training guidelines (2008)

The new guidelines include some alterations to timescales, and the section on publicity has been consolidated to include all the aspects that have been discussed within the TOSC. There is also a section about putting information onto the Society's website

2. Publicising training events: guidelines for putting entries onto the website, into ARC and on jiscmail (July 2007)

3. Training report template. This is a template to report to the TOSC and enables us to keep a record of all Society training events that we have organised (July 2007)

To report on prospective events you can use a separate copy of this template, so that you can then alter it later once the event has run, or you can just use a standard word processed document if that is easier. The important thing is that events that have happened should be reported using the standard template.

4. Excel spreadsheet for course budgets (July 2007).
