The full implementation of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 is only a matter of days away. A crucial aspect of the legislation is the management of records - without effective RM policies and procedures public authorities will have great difficulties in meeting the challenging requirements of the legislation. This presentation gives an overview of the FOI Act and examines the role played by records management in its implementation.
