Introduction to Project Management

The training will be delivered over two half days from 9.30am to 12.30pm on the 26th and 27th March. Please purchase one ticket only.

Project management is about getting things done within a specific timeframe through the use of tools, knowledge, processes, and competencies.

 

This course is for anyone who is new to project management and would like to learn techniques to manage a project. It is suitable for any one working the archives sector or the wider cultural and heritage sectors, from senior managers to frontline staff and volunteers.

Introduction to Advocacy

This training event will be delivered over two half days from 9.30am to 12.30pm on the 23rd and 24th April. Please purchase one ticket only.

Advocacy in the workplace is an increasingly important subject. This course introduces attendees to core approaches for defining the purpose of advocacy work and planning how to implement it.

 

This course is suitable for people who are new to advocacy and wish to learn core concepts and tools for undertaking simple advocacy work. Whilst it is based around advocacy for archives it will be suitable for anyone in the cultural and heritage sectors.

This course is for anyone who is new to time management in archives, libraires, museums, and the wider cultural heritage sector. It is suitable for all levels of staff, volunteers and those working in community settings.

Budgeting for beginners

The training will be delivered over two half days from 9.30am to 12.30pm on the 14th and 15th May. Please purchase one ticket only.

This course is targeted at anyone who is new to budgeting. It is suitable for all levels of staff, volunteers and those working in community organisations. Whilst designed for those in the cultural sectoral it will be relevant for those working in any environment as it covers key ideas and processes used in financial reporting.
