Publication of Archives and Archivists 2 marked in Dublin

President of UCD leads speakers at prestigious event to launch newpublication

A launch was held on 13 May at the Royal Dublin Society to celebrate the publication of Archives and Archivists 2, a compilation of articles by archive students from University College Dublin. President of University College Dublin Professor Andrew J Deeks led the speakers.

The book is the result of recent research by postgraduate students in archive   studies at University College Dublin. Edited by Ailsa C Holland and Elizabeth Mullins, the contributions address many of the issues faced by archive, records management and information specialists.

Contributors are: Leah Benson, Julie L.N. Brooks, Niamh Collins, Antoinette Doran, Louise Kennedy, Brian Kirby, Kevin Lohan, Kirsten Mulrennan, David Ryan, Emma Saunders, Pauline Swords, Harriet Wheelock, Catherine Wright.

The book was made possible by the ARA's research and advocacy fund.
