11.30am – 12.00noon: Alexandra Mitchell (Group Archivist, The Peel Group) Determination, Perseverance, Patience: Establishing and Promoting the Peel Archive.
12noon - 12.15pm: Breakout session: barriers to promoting your archives
12.15pm-12.20pm: Jane Stevenson (Archives Hub Manager)
Raising awareness through being part of an aggregation: how to contribute to the Archives Hub.
12.20pm – 1.00pm: Lunch
1.00pm-1.30pm: Maria Sienkiewicz (Group Archivist, Barclays Group Archives) ‘Anniversary, What Anniversary? Adapting your archive to the needs of your brand’ Maria reflects on the experience of using archives in support of one of the UK’s oldest brands.
1.30pm - 2.00pm: Lucy Lead (Archivist, Wedgwood Museum) The Wedgwood Archives: The story behind the design
2.00pm – 2.30pm: Refreshments break
2.30pm - 3.00pm: Eibhlin Colgan (Archive Manager, Guinness Archive) ‘The Brewer’s Project: A Case Study’. Eibhlin will explore how Guinness Archive is used by the brand to inspire, create and market new product innovations.
3.00pm – 3.45pm: Panel session led by Mike Anson (Chair of the Business Archives Council). Session will include seminar speakers and Emma King, Archive Manager (Butlins Marketing).
3.45 – 4.00pm: Final thoughts and close
