Event Details
The ARA Section for New Professionals is holding its second Summer Seminar training event on Friday 17th August 2012 in Manchester, at the John Rylands University Library, Deansgate. The event is free and open to anyone at the beginning of a career in archives, records management or conservation. We've got an exciting programme of discussion and talks this year, including:
- Talks on born digital records and cataloguing in a digital age
- A tour and demonstrations at the North West Film Archive
- A panel of recruiters from across the sector advising on how to apply for project based roles
- A discussion on the current state of the archives and records sector that will be fed back to the ARA Conference 2012
