Guidance Notes
The official Registration Scheme Regulations and Guidance Notes ("The Guidance Notes") are the definitive guide to how the Scheme works and how it can be undertaken. They were thoroughly revised and updated in 2005 as part of the Scheme’s quinquennial review.
The Guidance Notes are now presented in eight parts, plus the worked examples of forms. The parts have been designed to be helpful to people at particular stages of the Registration Scheme, or can be read one after the other for a complete overview. All parts are available to download from this page as Adobe Acrobat (PDF) files with the exception of the blank forms which require completion, available as a Word file in part 6.
If you have any questions or require further information please refer to Guidance Notes Part 7 – Help & Contact Details.
