Archives and Records Management Qualifications
There are a number of postgraduate courses in archives administration and records management in the UK.
University College London
The School of Library, Archive and Information Studies (SLAIS) offers a postgraduate MA/Diploma/Certificate in Archives and Records Management and a MA/Diploma/Certificate in Records and Archives Management (International) which provide entry-level qualifications for those new to the profession. It also offers flexible professional development opportunities for those already in post who wish to enhance their understanding of archives or records management or acquire a new qualification.
The Liverpool University Centre for Archive Studies (LUCAS) offers a full time taught postgraduate Master/Diploma in Archives and Records Management (MARM) and an international pathway, Master/Diploma in Archives and Records Management (International Pathway).
University of Wales, Aberystwyth
The Department of Information Studies (DIS) offers a full-time taught postgraduate UDip/MScEcon in Archive Administration and UDip/MScEcon in Records Management. DIS also offers distance learning equivalents - a UDip/MScEcon in Archive Administration by Distance Learning and a UDip/MScEcon in Records Management by Distance Learning - for individuals who wish to study on a flexible part-time basis while working within the field.
University of Northumbria
The School of Informatics offers a MSc in Records Management by Distance Learning.

The Archives Department offers a Masters in Archives and Records Management.
University of Dundee
The University of Dundee Archive and Records Management (ARM) Distance Learning Programme is a new and innovative course, providing flexible study for archivists and records managers and accredited single module study for continuing professional development.
University of Glasgow
The Humanities Advanced Technology and Information Institute offers a Certificate/Diploma/MSc in Information Management and Preservation (Archives and Records Management). The course can be taken on a full-time, part-time or continuing professional development basis.
