Dissertation Topic: The problems with racism, homophobia, sexism and prejudice in an audio visual archive, using the HTV archive at the National Library of Wales as a primary source.
Working project (project leader)‘Ceramics Collection and Archive Aberystwyth University Oral History Project’. Using ISAD (G) NCA and Library of Congress standards, and cataloguing systems of Calm and ICA Atom. As well as coordinating the group is responsible for a report on preservation of the collection.
Previously served in the Royal Navy for 22 years, rising to management level as a Communications Yeoman.

At present volunteering at National Screen and Sound Archives Wales housed in The National Library of Wales , producing an acquisitions catalogue on Windows Excel.
Volunteered for a four month period during the summer of 2014 at Anglesey Archives, Llangefni. Cataloguing various photographic collection and numerous estate collections, using CALM and Windows Excel, conserving and digitizing items as instructed.

Volunteered at the National Library of Wales for over 150 hours during 2011 -2013, working on the 'Ships of Aberystwyth' a Project transferring ships records from their Primary Source to Windows Excel.
Work Placement/Experience for a four month period during the Summer of 2013 at Anglesey Archives, Llangefni , working on various projects, including, Holyhead Golf Club, Llandegfan Estate Records, Llangefni Women Institute and Meals on Wheels. Working on the CALM database updating research and amending catalogues.
Work Experience gained for a four month period at Portsmouth Archives in 2011, monitoring the work of the Head Archivist Michael Gunton. Working on cataloguing projects, The Schneider Trophy 1929/1931 and First World War Tribunal Records for the Hampshire Area. Working within a team on the ‘Lancelyn Green Collection’ a collection of Arthur Conan Doyle Memorabilia. Carrying out duties in the Archive Search Room and the last week I was transferring the archival material held in the Search Room Archive from the Museum to the Library in Portsmouth .
Royal Navy career covering 22 years
2009 to 2011, prior to leaving the Royal Navy, teaching and managing Communication to new recruits writing out reports on a weekly basis. A six month course package where you monitor students from their arrival in training to the transition into sailors of the Royal Navy based at HMS Collingwood.
Communications Yeoman on HMS Albion from 2006 to 2009 . Carrying out the managing and planning of Communication on a daily and monthly basis. Working with superiors on a daily basis solving problems of dissemination of ships and communications details. Organised the routine of 25 personnel daily and organised a living quarter for 35 Ratings. Writing monthly and promotional reports on the progress of personnel.
Leading Radio Operator (Leading Hand) on HMS Invincible from 2002 to 2006. Organised and managed the daily routine for 50 personnel from the Communications Department, including the living quarters of 16 Ratings.
From 1989 to 2002 Served as a Radio Operator Tactical in the Royal Navy, Flashing Light (Morse) , Signal Flags, Radio Voice Procedure and Tele-printer Communications Traffic to the introduction of new software implementation from tele-printers to computers. During this period served on 11 ships seeing active service in Kosovo, Sierra Leone and Afghanistan.
