About meI am an archivist at Cambridge Assessment, which operates the University's three exam boards - OCR, Cambridge English and Cambridge International Examinations. The archives serve both internal and external researchers involved in the history and future development of education and assessment. My role incorporates a broad range of day-to-day archives management duties from cataloguing and preservation through to future planning as the organisation continues to grow and develop. The post is part-time and since 2013 I have also acted as Deputy Archivist at Jesus College, Cambridge.
Archives management is a second career for me, having worked as an Art & Design tutor and lecturer, at a variety of levels. Before my course at UCL I volunteered in the archives at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridgeshire Archives, Girton College and Jesus College, Cambridge.
I am a contact and co-organiser for the Cambridge Archivists Group.
